چکیده
The purpose of the study is to find out impact core with speed training on inspiratory reserve volume, expiratory volume among male kabaddi players. To achieve present thirty players studying in various departments and colleges Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan group institutions, Perambalur, Tamil Nadu, age 18 - 25 years were selected as subjects. They divided into three groups, which, Group I (n=15) underwent training, – II acted control, who did not participate any special apart from their regular routine activities. Prior after exercises period subjects tested for volume. Inspiratory was measured by Wet spirometer. Analysis covariance (ANCOVA) applied know significant mean difference between experimental control It concluded that twelve weeks showed an group.

Prolonged slow expiration technique in infants: effects on tidal volume, peak expiratory flow, and expiratory reserve volume.
BACKGROUND Prolonged slow expiration (PSE) is a physiotherapy technique often applied in infants to reduce pulmonary obstruction and clear secretions, but there have been few studies of PSE's effects on the respiratory system. OBJECTIVE To describe PSE's effects on respiratory mechanics in infants. METHODS We conducted a cross-sectional study with 18 infants who had histories of recurrent ...
متن کاملVariability of relaxed expiratory volume and forced inspiratory volume.
Measurements of relaxed expiratory volume in one second (REV1.0) and forced inspiratory volume in one second (FIV1.0) were made on 50 subjects on two occasions to know the variability of these procedures in the individual subject. The mean coefficients of variation for REV1.0 and FIV1.0 were 6740' and 892%, respectively. The 95% confidence limit of difference between highest readings obtained o...
متن کاملFunctional Speed Reserve as a Proxy for the Anaerobic Speed Reserve Using the Critical Speed Concept
Background: Although maximal sprint speed (MSS) and the anaerobic speed reserve (ASR) provides valuable information about the speed profile of athletes, these parameters fall short of providing important information about sub-maximal metabolic thresholds. The only field test that can offer an estimate of a sub-maximal metabolic threshold is the 3-minute all-out test for running (3MT) which deli...
متن کاملExpiratory reserve volume maneuver may be the preferred method for some patients during spirometry testing.
In the July 2012 issue of the Journal, Borg and Thompson1 reported the effect of 2 different vital capacity methods on lung volume data and patient classification derived from whole body plethysmography. The preferred method according to American Thoracic Society/European Respiratory Society recommendations is to follow closed-shutter panting with exhalation to residual volume (RV, expiratory r...
متن کاملEffect of ongoing isometric handgrip exercise on the inspiratory and expiratory reserve volumes
Muscle exercises are of two types—isotonic and isometric. Isotonic exercises such as walking, jogging, and running has proved beneficial in chronic diseases (e.g., hypertension, diabetes mellitus) and is widely advocated by clinicians and practiced by patients. Symptoms may get aggravated in some of the diseased conditions such as bronchial asthma (BA), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (CO...
